What an exciting weekend! At the church, our United Women in Faith will hold a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday morning. Beth O'Brien will lead a time of centering and meditation. Later Saturday afternoon, Laura's Treasure Trove will hold a 1/2 price sale. There has been a lot of work that has gone to prepare for this sale.
 
Sunday morning, Worship will include the baptism of Thomas Clegg, as well as receiving new members. Later Sunday afternoon, we will have our Annual Church Conference, where we will celebrate our ministries and vote on leadership and committee participation.
 
All of these events have something in common. Commitment. 
 
It takes commitment to be part of a group to deepen and grow in faith together.
 
It takes commitment to receive items, sort them, set them out for display, and hold a sale for hours on a Saturday. 

It takes commitment to be baptized or become a New Member. 

It takes commitment to lead and participate in all the ministries that make our church sing.
 
This season is powerful, and we are just getting started. Come join us this Sunday as we begin our journey to Commitment Sunday as we kick off our Stewardship Campaign - Grace-Filled Living. Come listen to the stories of others as we commit together to God and one another. What an awesome God we have and what a tremendous gift we have in our church.
