22 walkers from Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church participated in the Bridgeport CROP Hunger walk on Sunday May 7th and spent a beautiful afternoon together with dozens of additional walking teams from the area. We walked two sunny miles around the Brooklawn section of Bridgeport, with our start/finish host, United Congregational Church. It was great to make new friends, as well! Don Hastings, the Crop Walk team leader announced that fundraising from our church exceeded $4,000 to help alleviate hunger locally and worldwide! Well done!
